Pamukkale tour from Antalya is an unforgettable experience. You will visit one of the most beautiful places on earth.
With its white travertines and ancient cities, Pamukkale is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Situated in the Denizli region of Turkey and approximately 300 km from Antalya, this ‘Cotton Castle’ is unique to our planet.
An air-conditioned, comfortable coach will pick you up from your hotel or apartment in Antalya around 05:30. You will embark on a 250-kilometre journey to the Denizli province and enjoy the surrounding countryside.
On the way, you will have a comfort break to enjoy breakfast. You may bring breakfast boxes prepared from your hotel to eat there.
Upon arriving at Pamukkale (infamous cotton castle), your English-speaking guide will give you a brief overview of the ancient history and formation of the travertines. Then, you will have 3 hours free time to explore Pamukkale and Hierapolis.

At the top of the travertines, you can enjoy the ancient city of Hierapolis, where Roman baths, museums, ancient streets, ancient theatre, ancient collumns and agoras will transport you to the past.
Next, you will visit white travertines. You can enjoy the rock pools as you descend the travertine ridge. Travertines are loved by people of all ages, from 7 to 77, due to the shallow and warm rock pools filled with thermal waters.
In addition, this area provides the perfect opportunity to take great photos.
Natural hot springs offer a unique combination of natural beauty and historical significance. Fallen columns from the ancient city of Hierapolis still stand in the pool, and the 36-degree Celsius waters provide the chance to swim among them.
Pool complex has restaurants, cafe’s, changing rooms, W.C., gift shops and lockers to store your belongings. Location of the Cleopatra’s pool is convenient, as it is close to all the sights, allowing for easy access and return visits.

The coaches are air-conditioned and comfortable, but the day tours may be tiring for younger children. However, there will be enough stops throughout the cotton castle tour.
Pack good walking shoes, swimsuits, sunglasses, and towels. A sun hat is also essential, as there is no shade while climbing the travertines.
Please be aware that shoes are not allowed while walking on the travertines to maintain their whiteness and purity. Likewise, flip-flops are not permitted either.
Remember to bring your camera to capture unforgettable moments and bring some money for additional drinks, refreshments, or souvenirs.
Bring breakfast boxes from your hotel and you can enjoy them in the day.
Pamukkale tour from Antalya costs €30 for adults, €15 for children between 4-7 years old and under four are free.
If you would like to add lunch and entrance tickets into your tour, price is €55 for adults, €35 for children between 4-7 and under 4 are free.
Hot air balloon in Pamukkale fly at sunrise, so it’s not possible to join them in the day trips. However, you can go paragliding while you are at the site.
Bus journey from Antalya to Pamukkale takes around 3 to 4 hours. There are multiple stops on the route for your comfort.
