The travertines of Pamukkale and the white sand of Lake Salda are two pearls of Turkey.
The snow-white travertine pools filled with clear turquoise water, incredible views of nature, Cleopatra’s hot water pool, the ancient buildings in Hierapolis and the unbelievably white coastlines of Lake Salda will leave an unforgettable impression on you.
Lake Salda & Pamukkale tour costs €30 for adults and €15 for children 4-7, under 4 are free.
If you would like to add lunch and entrance tickets into your tour, price is €65 for adults, €45 for children between 4-7 and under 4 are free.
A comfortable bus will pick you up between 05:30 and 06:00. You will head to your first stop on the journey, which will be a short break for breakfast. You can buy breakfast in this restaurant or bring breakfast boxes from your hotel and enjoy it there.
After breakfast, you will continue your journey towards Pamukkale. Upon arrival at the site, around 09:00, your professional guide will take you on a tour around the city of Hierapolis. The tour guide will give you relevant information about the points of interest en route.
You will then have a few hours to yourself when you can visit the travertines, take a dip in Cleopatra’s Pool or explore the ancient city even further.
Then, you will leave Pamukkale behind and go to Salda Lake to enjoy the white sand and warm waters. There will be a break here for swimming before you finally make your way onto the bus at around 16:00.
Your journey back to Antalya will begin with convenience breaks made en route. Then, you will make a final stop for your evening meal, which is included in your ticket price.
Pack good walking shoes, swimsuits, sunglasses, and towels. A sun hat is also essential, as there is no shade while climbing the travertines.
Please be aware that shoes are not allowed while walking on the travertines to maintain their whiteness and purity. Likewise, flip-flops are not permitted either.
Remember to bring your camera to capture unforgettable moments and bring some money for additional drinks, refreshments, or souvenirs.
Bring breakfast boxes from your hotel and you can enjoy them in the day.
